This was inspired by a juice place I used to work at. It is actually the place I became obsessed with juicing at. I absorbed alllll the knowledge I possibly could, and then made my exit after realizing their business methods were not up to par in the ethical areas. But that's ok. I always learn something from every job I have ever had. Plus, I took away this idea!
This is a tasty way to get a protein boost any time you need it, and because it is in liquid form, it is easier for your body to digest. Also: cinnamon. CINNAMON is a power house when it comes to spices and their nutritional benefits. But we can get into that another time.
Let's go ahead and hop onto this recipe, y'all.
1 cup raw cashews (organic if possible) soaked in water overnight
3-4 cups of water, filtered
2 Tbsp. Agave
1/2tsp. himalayan sea salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract or paste
2 tsp. cinnamon (ceylon)
Pour all ingredients (except the water that the cashews were soaked in) into a high speed blender.
Blend until cashews are completely broken down.
Store for 3-5 days in sealed jar/container.
You are going to love this so much! Feel free to personalize it any way that you want (ie. more salt?; more cinnamon?).
